For Band classes, we rotate through instruments and do not expect families to have a full band set up at home. If your musician has access to an instrument, they will always improve with leaps and bounds by practicing between classes. Most of the season, our band classes are designed to not always have a practice requirement.

Music Speaks Studio will provide at least 3 performance showcases each year, typically scheduled in the Spring and Fall and Holidays.  They are designed with themes to be fun-filled, family events that showcase students’ musical journey.  The goal is to support a desire to strive for excellence without creating a stressful experience.

We reserve the last 5 minutes of each class to invite parents in to hear what your musician has been working on, which gives weekly “performance” opportunities to build confidence in playing or singing in front of even the harshest critic (because in our minds, we musicians tend to get most nervous playing for the people we live with - totally normal and not your fault, it’s just a thing that happens to the best of us).

Our Hard Worker Discount encourages a student to work on their instruments in more than one atmosphere. This can be done with combining private lessons with a group class or band.

6 or 10 Lesson packages work well for honing your skill on your own schedule.
